The first global IFMS meeting in Atlanta was hosted by the American Meteorological Society (AMS); future meetings are expected to take place every two-to-three years and will be hosted by meteorological societies around the world.
The IFMS Steering Committee prepared an agenda for the first Global Meeting (GM-1) of the IFMS that will take place January 19-20, 2010.
Leaders of the more-than-sixty of the world’s meteorological societies are being invited to this seminal event: never before have the world’s meteorological societies come together to discuss common challenges and opportunities.
